Soft Commodities Trading If The SIN Taxes Increases By Another 10% Would You Stop Smoking?

If the SIN Taxes increases by another 10% would you stop smoking? - soft commodities trading

To increase taxes on cigarettes, alcohol and tastes probably in the context of "economic reforms". Do you think that this helps people stop drinking and smoking, or reduce the amount they eat? If alcoholic beverages are included in the list?

What happens if the tax increases for these products through a reduction in the prices of commodities like rice, sugar, eggs, milk .. offset? it would be better?

I think it should not smoke a inccentive for smokers, and those who drink alcohol, stop drinking.

Although Staete has the power to tax and to create new taxes, but must also compensate for the taxation and investment. But in the case of products of sin, then the government should increase the property tax so that it would be necessary to protect the prices for sugar, rice and other basic commoditties increase.

But I do not think that taxing fast food is a good initiative.

Perhaps the luxury tax on goods like mobile phones and high-end cars, especially more than 2 liters, because they are more fuel and more pullute to cars with small displacement compared to consume, and instead offer incentives for hybrid models selection.

Well, not because people do not cook anymore, only increase the taxes on alcohol and cigarettes, but perhaps taxes on fast food.
The performance can return to their numbers. Soft drinks, yes, it's a good idea, but like I said, do not forget the burgers, hot dogs, fries and shakes!
